Archipelago Red Cottage

A cozy cottage in a traditional Finnish style. The cottage can easily fit 6 persons and offers a large yard, berries and a surrounding of natural beauty. Use the wooden stoves for a natural experience or the modern equipment for complete comfort. Well equipped for children and family life. Enough space for a fairly large company. Garden games, bicycles, barbecues, a trampoline and Nintendo Wii. The sea is at a small strolls distance from the cottage with a special small romantic swimmingplace. The space [ NOTE! Due to the coronavirus situation we have taken extra precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our guests in the cottage. In order to minimize the risk of possible contamination from previous guests via soft surfaces we are blocking at least 1 day (26 hours) between every booking. All bookings already has one blocked day before and after. This way any possible lingering viruses in the house will have naturally been destroyed by the time the next guest arrive. All critical surfaces in the kitchen and toilet will be separately disinfected. This way we are confident that we are able to provide a highly secure vacation home for you. ] The Archipelago Red Cottage. A house of your own in the Finnish archipelago. The house is decorated in a Finnish traditional style with a large yard where you will find appletrees and berrybushes. You will be located at a short walking distance from the sea with a small Jetty and romantic sunsets. In the cottage you will find and option for using wooded heating in a total of 3 fireplaces including a traditional iron stove in the kitchen. A total of 6 persons can with ease stay in house with a total of 5 separate beds (1 doublebed). The cottage is equipped with modernities such as dishwasher, washing machine, air-conditioning, microwave owen, television, dvd/bluray-player, Smart TV with Netflix and Disney+ subscriptions, chromecast, a mobile Wi-Fi internet connection, portable wireless speaker and the family friendly Nintendo Wii console and Wii Fit. Enjoy the sauna, a separate shower and a space to relax. Sit outside afterwards with a barbecue and music or enjoy a moment in a sun chair. A large trampoline for the kids and different garden games such Crocket or the finnish "Mölkky". Enjoy the beautiful Dragsfjärd lake by canoe easily via us or see the village by bicycle. We also have all that you need to visit with a toddler or small child, including a foldable baby bed, kids bathtub and a kids toilet ring. The cottage lies in the centre of the Finnish archipelago area. The nearest buss-stop is conveniently 300m away. Closeby are famous destinations such as the Archipelago Natural Park, the sandy Longside Beach, guestharbours, the Baltic Jazz-festival and The Bengtskär Lighthouse. At a walking distance you have several eat-out places. Grocery stores 1 km away. A little over 1h drive to Moominland and a 25 min drive to a nice Spa with swimming or a nature reserve with fishing. Even if we hold pets very dear, for allergy reasons we generally do not allow them in the cottage. The place has a feeling of comfort and peace, in combination to nature and having a central location. The yard has plenty of space for outdoor activities and an interesting nature nearby, including a viking monument. A perfect place for family life or a larger group of people! You're most welcome to stay with us! Guest access You will have access to the entire house and yard. Including the sauna, shower and relaxing room at the bottom floor. Berries and fruit that grow in the garden are freely available. Firewood and bicycles can be used. There are a couple of spots nearby for swimming and a guest harbour if you travel by boat. The driveway will fit four cars. Other things to note The internet is a Wi-Fi 4G mobile router with a built-in battery and can be taken along for daytrips. Free limitless internet use anywhere in Finland. We have a canoe ready for trips at the Dragsfjärden lake, for a small service fee. You can also rent a car via us, or a Deuter Kid Comfort child carrier (17 kg child max).
