Peace and seclusion!

Ten minutes drive from Kissamos this is a single self contained apartment with double bedroom, shower room and kitchen/living area. If you are looking for somewhere totally away from the turmoil of every day life, this is the place for you. The only other people here are Sue and I (and our Labrador, Darcy) However, Kissamos is close by and has everything you will need for shopping or eating out and also we are close to the popular beaches of Falasarna and Balos. The space This single, modern, self contained 35 sq metre apartment has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. It is located underneath where we live and has its own private access and outside area for relaxing and eating. Unlike many AirBnB places these days, this is part of our home, where we live and you will be treated as part of our family during your stay. The kitchen area has basic cooking facilities with 2 hot plates, microwave, toaster and kettle. A fridge with small freezer compartment is provided to keep your food fresh for when you need it. Plates, cups, glasses, pans and cutlery are all provided. Outside the electric Weber BBQ is ideal for cooking grilled meats or fish. The pictures of our home are honest, taken by us and not enhanced in any way to make it look like something it is not........ Guest access Outside is your own private space with BBQ, hammock, seating around a large round barrel table, all under the shade of a mulberry tree. Also, you are free to use our pool and sun lounger area upstairs any time you like, we will show you where to turn the lights on for the pool at night! Other things to note A car is required to get to the nearest shops and tavernas, walking is not really an option! The track to our home is rough but passable with care. If you are used only to tarmac roads it may be a little worrying but in the 14 years living here none of our visitors have suffered any damage to their cars. This is not a business for us, we just want to meet interesting people and share this wonderful part of the world that we are lucky enough to live in. We have a young chocolate Labrador, Darcy who we brought here from Manchester when our daughters dogs had puppies. The pool is not heated so early and late in the season you may have to be a little brave to have a swim. The best temperature is normally from the middle of May to the end of September. The Greek government charges a fee called the Climate Resilience Levy for all tourists visiting Greece. In the case of our apartment the charge is 8 euros per night of booking, not per person.
