Guest access We are often home when guests arrive but we will leave keys in the key safe if we are out. We are always happy to have a chat and offer local knowledge and tips. A 10 to 15 minute walk to Bowness or a taxi at a cost of £3.50. We welcome all well behaved dogs and have treats waiting for them. My home is in the town centre with good transport links to Bowness on Windermere, Ambleside, Rydal, Grassmere, Keswick. There are plenty of retail shops, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs all on the doorstep. I recommend The Crafty Bar, Cafe Italia, Tapio's, Brown Sugar, San Pietro, and Hooked.
