Portuguese historic house & large terrace. Located in Cascais vilage historical centre main street (pedestrian). 2 minutes stepaway to beaches and Train Station (35 minute train ride to Lisbon). Bus to Sintra, bike renting, amazing restaurants, free ocean pools, nice shops and groceries all around. The space ARRIVING Cascais is located 30/45 minutes from Lisbon. FROM CASCAIS TRAIN STATION YOU CAN SEE THE HOUSE!! HOUSE The house is located at the historical centre of Cascais Village, in one of the main pedestrian streets with shops and restaurants. Therefore, you will not hear the noise of cars, bars or clubs, but you can feel the movement of the village, quite lively at festivity days. A HISTORIC HOUSE with over one hundred years. Me and my family have remodeled it and lived there for 5 years, and we left almost everything as it was. In 2013, we remodeled it again for Airbnb, maintaining the characteristics of a "Portuguese House": facade, walls very thick (so it is naturally cool in summer and hot in winter), wooden doors and windows. 1st FLOR: 1. 30m2 LIVING ROOM - 3 couches (one is an extra double bed) - tv lcd and dvd/cd/mp3 player - table for 4-6 people 2. KITCHEN - dishwasher - two ovens: one electric and a microwave - large fridge and freezer - 4 burner stove 3. WC (4m2) - hairdryer - shower gel and cream - emergency box 4.LAUNDRY ROOM(3m2) - washing machine - ironing table and steam iron - sheltered spot with clothesline 5."GREEN ROOM": This small room is a hallway to the second flor and therefore has 2 doors. - 2 single beds. - closet. - small table and chair for work. 2nd FLOR A BEDROOM: - couple bed -1m58*1m95 - orthopedic spring mattress - closet - small table - double glazed windows and a large TERRACE with one table and chairs for 6, and a hammock. AUGUST In August for 10 days, very nearby, there are THE CITY PARTIES and FREE MUSIC CONCERTS. NEWYEAR'S EVE At the New Year's Eve the town is very lively, with free concerts and FIREWORKS SHOW 200 meters from the house. LISBON and SINTRA 30 minutes away. (bus to Sintra stops at the same street, as the train to lisbon). LINEN AND TOWELS: Clean bed sheets and towels are provided and are included in the price. CLEANING: If you're staying for more than a week, extra cleaning, sheets and towels can be provided upon request. Guest access Guests have PRIVATE acess have access to ALL THE HOUSE and terrace. Other things to note Sommertime the street is busy. The new windows block the main sounds, eventough you can feell it. In the summer, the street may be busy. The windows are new and block out sounds, but still, you can feel and hear this movement. AUGUST (from 15th to 31Th) there are the village parties, nearby.
