Welcome to our family runned organic farm for a stay in authentic rural Norway. Located in the heart of western Norway with short distance to both Sognefjorden, the Jostedals glaicer, famous Molden and Unesco World Heritage stavchurch in Urnes. A perfect spot if you want to explore the area and are looking for a local experience. We offer all guests that travel overland a 10 % climate discount for not flying. Let us know when you make your booking, and we will arrange the discount for you. The space The apartment (approx. 50 square meter) was finished in January 2020 and offers facilities for a comfortable stay all year. Our organic farm is located in Lambhaug village in a small "hidden" valley 240 meters about sea level. In summer we have a flock of pigs who roam free on the meadows and in a small forest. In 2021 we started a 3000 m2 marketgarden with over 50 differents types of organic vegetables, plus lots for flowers. Many of our guests buy salads and other vegetables from us during there stay. From end of june til midt of august we also hav a cafe serving food based on our own products. Open fram 11-16. Our family consist of husband, wife, 3 kids and our dog Erik. We emigrated form Denmark to live in this beautiful place many years ago and never looked back. We are passionate about outdoor life, and are more than happy to share tips that will give you the best experience. The apartment consists of the following rooms Hall/entrance with wardrobe. Master bedroom with 2 single beds (90 cm). If desired the two beds can be put together to one double bed. Bedroom with 2 single beds (75 cm ) Loft with 2 single beds (90 cm). NB this is not a separate room. Se photos. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Kitchen and living room. You will also have the access to a room with a washing machine and shoe dryers. This is shared with the host family, and will not always look as tidy as in the picture. There is no separate private space outside, but you are welcome to sit in our garden which have two separate terraces. You are also welcom to use our gasgrill. Our children are born 2010,2012 and 2014 and are likely to play in the garden, so we can't guarantee silence . Since you will be staying on a working farm in a rural area, you should not be surprised that tractors might be working the fields and that animals will be grassing nearby. For things to grow the fields needs fertilizer which will give out authentic Norwegian smell for a few days. It's all included in the price.
