This 2 level cottage with native bush surrounds is perfect for couples to envelope themselves with the beauty of NZ land and sea. There is also art and books abound. Enjoy sea views from the comfort of the bed, lounge, kitchen & various parts of the section. A very private the garden backs onto a bush reserve. No smoking inside but outside is fine. The space 2 level cottage tucked away among bush and perched above the sea looking over Coromandel harbour. Excellent sea views next to a native bush reserve. Furnished with art, fully equipped modern kitchen and bathroom. Captain's bunk style double bed looks out over harbour. Library and desk in the single room with views. Perfect as a base to explore Coromandel Town and the greater Peninsula, Seaperch is a place to watch seabirds and oyster barges work as the tide ebbs and flows while the deck is the perfect spot to watch the setting sun. Conveniently located and close to Coromandel Wharf, Long Bay beach to starboard and Coro Town to port. Bedrooms are on the 2nd level, lounge, kitchen & bathroom 1st level. This house is not suitable for those unaccustomed or have difficulty with steps, but perfect for those who enjoy quirky. Guest access Complete house with garden. Small herb garden for you to help yourself to whatever is growing. Other things to note Please note everything is legal safety wise but it is not suitable for those who have difficulty with stairs or small children, mainly due to steps, (33 to get to house), and lack of childproof fences around a section that has some banks. The bedrooms are upstairs while bathroom, kitchen and living areas downstairs. Internal stairs have no handrail. Double bed is high (1m) requiring a step up to it but the reward is sea views to watch the tide or the stars while in bed. Mattress medium rating. Off street parking available. Please note there is no TV or microwave. WiFi is available and connected with fibre. There is a layered fern bank out the back so if the weather is dry for long vacancy periods it is hoped that someone can come, when convenient, to water. With stunning views and surrounding bush there is plenty of privacy. The West outlook is over the harbour, oyster beds and setting sun.
