Cozy cabin at Blefjell, 1t 45m from Oslo

Our cabin has a great view over Numedal and Numedalslågen river. Its close to the mountains with great hikes during summer and a network of prepared cross-country tracks during winter. There's also downhill skiing nearby, with a great slope for small children. Our place is a newly renovated spacious cabin from the 70s with open common areas. It has electricity, water, hot water, dishwasher, shower and a cabin-toilet (dry-toilet). Road all the way to the door. Baby cot is available at the cabin. The space The cabin was built in 1972 and expanded in 2004 and is in good condition. Its aproximatly 500 meters above sea level. Its has 3 seperate bedrooms, a loft and a singel bed in a common area. The cabin is most suited for one or two families with small children. Wifi is mostly for TV/Apple TV use. The area has full 4g coverage with all Norwegian providers. There cabin is close to a the dirt road up to the mountain, but usually very low traffic here. The terrace has one side that is unsecured down to the ground 1m below, so small kids should be watched here. But its fun to jump from during wintertime! Remember to bring bedsheets and towels, and know that you are expected to clean the hut yourself on checkout. The last bit of road up to the cabin is a toll road. Payable via mobile/app. 70 kr. During winter I recommend a 4x4 car or bringing snow chains. We ourselves dont have a 4x4, but we always bring chains during winter due to hilly and slippery roads in the area. Other things to note Remember there's a toll road up to the cabin. 70 kr. Payable with card. Its not a running water toilet, but a cabin toilet. Its not outside, but in a heated room indoors. Remember to bring bedsheets and towels. The cabin needs to be cleaned at check-out. Enjoy your stay!
