Set within a listed building, the apartment has a large terrace filled with plants and overlooking a gorgeous historic baroque church dating back to 1730. Inside you will find two bedrooms, a comfy living room overlooking the terrace, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. You will be a short 10 minute walk alongside the river to historic Greenwich, with its famous Naval College, Painted Hall and Royal Observatory - not to mention the Cutty Sark and the refreshing greenery of Greenwich Park! You are also within quick access of some of London's most famous sights: only a 6 minute train ride away from London Bridge (Shard, Borough Market), a 15 minute trip away from South Bank (Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe) and 25 - 30 mins away from Westminster (Parliament), the West End (theatres, world-class shopping) and Shoreditch (amazing restaurant scene, street art and nightlife). With quick and easy access to the City (12 min) and Canary Wharf (20 min), it is also an excellent base for a business trip. We speak a variety of languages between us. We are both fluent in English and French and intermediate Spanish. Fabio also speaks fluent Dutch and Italian. We love meeting new people from diverse cultures. Being avid travellers and users of Airbnb ourselves, it is important for us that our guests feel at home when they are travelling. Guest access You will have the whole flat to yourself! Other things to note CHECK-IN: Our check-in time is listed as "flexible" but should be "TBA" - To Be Agreed. (This is not an option Airbnb gives us.) After completing the booking, please contact us to let us know what time you are scheduled to arrive, how, and into what station/airport. We will do our best to accommodate your arrival time. During weekdays, check-in is between 5 pm - 10 pm; we can provide you with a safe and central place (near Liverpool Street station) to drop off your luggage if you arrive before 5 pm. During weekends, check-in is between 2 pm - 10 pm. If you need to check in outside of these times, please contact us BEFORE you book, just so we can be sure we can accommodate you. If you book without discussing with us in advance that you plan to arrive after 10 pm, we will apply a £40 late check-in fee to your booking. HOUSE RULES: - Please respect our neighbours. Strictly no parties, and no loud music after 9:30 pm. - Only guests who are included in the booking are allowed to stay overnight. - To keep our place clean and tidy, bookings longer than 7 days will be subject to a weekly cleaning session, including a change of bedlinen and towels. This is mandatory and charged at £40 per week, to be paid upon arrival or via the Airbnb Platform. - If you break something, please let us know so we can replace it. TV: Our TV connects to Amazon Fire, with a range of movies and TV series available to watch for free. We do not have terrestrial TV.
