Gorgeous garden studio Hobart

This peaceful one-bedroom studio is set in our beautiful green garden. It's spacious, private and fully equipped for your stay in the mountain-side community of Ridgeway, one of Hobart's best kept secrets, just 10 minutes from the city centre. The space This is a spacious (55 square metre) self-contained studio with a separate bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, wifi, outdoor patio and garden views. Reverse cycle heating keeps the space cozy. There is one double bed in the bedroom and for families travelling with one child (or groups of three) we can set up an extra bed or a baby's travel cot on demand. Guest access You can play in our large garden and also ride/walk right from the door onto the brilliant network of riding and walking trails that covers Kunanyi/Mount Wellington. No need to go to a wildlife park if you stay here: we have possums and bandicoots visiting our garden most nights, wallabies in the paddocks all around, a resident blue-tongued lizard, the occasional echidna trundling through, and all sorts of birdlife like kookaburras, native hens, beautiful native ducks and tiny blue wrens. Other things to note The space, and our garden, are family-friendly. Though there is just one bedroom in the studio - and usually only one double bed - we can set up an extra single bed for families travelling with one child. The space is also flexible for two singles (we set up an extra bed in the living area) or groups of three. We also have a portacot available for babies. The studio can accommodate a family of 4, on demand: talk to us. We always supply books and toys for families travelling with small children. Kids love our garden - and have access to our large, netted trampoline. Please note that we do live on site - our house is just next to the studio - so you will see us occasionally, and we may see you coming and going. We have two children who play out in the garden, but they are very good at not disturbing people in the studio. We try to give people as much privacy as they want.
