The apartment is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty, with the village of Topanga's unique vibe and Malibu town centre within a short, picturesque drive. Try high-end shopping in the valley or head to the beach for a laid-back day at the coast. Driving is essential for accessing this area. There is a coastal bus that runs through Topanga in the summer. Please rent a car or bring your own transportation. I’m afraid you cannot stay here without it. The property is on Saddle Peak Rd, 2000 ft above sea level. Pacific fern wood drive is the best two lane well maintained mountain road up there off Topanga Canyon Blvd, or Stunt road off Mullholland in the valley. All roads are windy ( it’s a mountain, but these two are the best.) Both offer exceptional unobstructed views of mountain ranges and sweeping vistas across the LA basin, all the way to Catalina in the Pacific Ocean. Please be mindful when driving through the village and more populated windy roads of Topanga, watch out for Deer and cyclists, dog walkers and the very occasional large vehicle coming the other way.
