Well-built Scandinavian log cottage with woodburner. Conveniently located for walking, riding, birdwatching, cycling or mountain biking in Eryri (Snowdonia). Ideal for a quiet break in the beauty of Snowdonia. WiFi included. Bedlinen included, but not towels. No outside EV charging point but will allow use of domestic socket by request for £10 per day. Own extension cable required. The space Ty Nant is a Scandinavian style log cottage with 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 people. Brithdir is a village 4 miles from Dolgellau with commanding views of Cadair Idris. "Ty Nant" (Brook Cottage) occupies a pleasant position beside a stream, with lawns extending to a pond at the centre of the group of neighbouring properties. Note that the gardens are open plan. You are a 20 minute walk from the scenic "Torrent Walk" with its spectacular waterfalls. A short drive will take you to the "New Precipice Walk" - stunning views of the Mawddach Estuary, Cadair Idris and surrounding hills, but without the need to climb. Despite its name there are no narrow ledges or sudden drops! Guest access You have the whole of the cottage. - 1 double bedroom - 1 twin bedroom - sun room with full size folding bed - kitchen (electric oven / hob, microwave oven, fridge, washing machine) fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils - living room / dining room (freesat digital TV, wood burning fire) - bathroom with electric shower - heating is by night storage radiators (electricity included) supplemented by the woodburning stove for extra cosiness - open plan gardens - parking for 2 cars Other things to note Guests must remember to bring their own towels. Bedlinen, teatowels, electricity and an initial supply of wood for the wood-burning fire are included.
