Vermaak~Likheid Garden Cottage is a spacious 4x bedroom family-orientated unit. It's got a separate bedroom with queen size bed and 2x 3/4 beds in the open plan living area. The unit is within 200 metres from the river where kayaking, swimming, kite-surfing, paddle skiing etc are at the order of the day. Stillbay has got no public transport system but is very safe and most of the supermarkets and other amenities are within walking distance from the unit. The space The unit itself has got the main bedroom with a queen-size bed and 2x 3/4 beds in the open-plan living area. The bathroom area has got a shower and washbasin with a separate toilet across from it. There is an outdoor patio area with a lovely sit-around braai area underneath lovely shade trees and outside table. The area is fenced off, but not secluded from the main house's back yard space. The kitchenette and open-plan living area have got a spacious feel to it with open roof-trusses and ceiling. parking is in front of the unit, next to the main house. The unit has a front door leading into the main bedroom and a side entrance from where the braai area can be reached. The unit's close proximity to the swimming area and river walkways as well as being close to town and the harbour gives it a huge appeal for visitors. Stillbay Golf Club is 1,2 Km away and there are many cycling routes around town and the district. Guest access Guests have access to the unit as well as the outdoor area at the back of the unit. Other things to note We're a social family with lots of friends and children coming by and visiting. This brings about a vibrant, busy atmosphere during December and April school holidays when we are at the main house. During the rest of the year, guests are mostly on their own at the unit. Vermaak-Likheid Garden Cottage is a self-catering cottage, adjacent to the main house, just a stone's throw away from the Goukou River which is a free-flowing river, opening into the warm Indian Ocean. The river mouth, about 400m from the unit, is a playground for many a kitesurfer and on windy days up to 30 kites can be counted. It is also a safe swimming area and adjacent to two Blue Flag Status beaches, which in turn is under the supervision of competent lifeguards during peak seasons. The riverside has sandy beaches which call out for long romantic sundowner-, or if you are not inclined to lay in, sunrise walks and sandcastle building during the hot summer days.
