Welcome to our 3rd floor apartment in our much loved 3 storey Victorian Townhouse built 1895, with many original features. Good for families, couples, individuals. Your private apartment is completely seperate to our living area. Bedroom, lounge, bathroom with bath and walk-in shower, fitted kitchen, central heating. . Free on street parking. The space This is a spacious one level apartment with high ceilings, good for families, couples, individuals and working from home. Large front bedroom with flat TV, has a double bed and 1 single bed also 2nd single bed which can be put up if needed for a family of 4 for instance (electric blankets for warmth). Travel cot available. The south facing, sunny, lounge diner with flat TV, dining/work table, and 2 comfy leather sofas with a double futon sofa (£5 extra per person per night after 2). The Victorian rooms are spacious so there is plenty of floor space to move in even with all beds in use. Large bathroom with bath and walk-in shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin. Towels included. Kitchen with fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, crockery and cutlery, etc. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided. Guest access The access to the apartment is via the front of the house through the Victorian shared family hallway. There are two big flights of stairs up to the flat so please bear that in mind when booking! (No lift)! Keys will be given on arrival. Other things to note The apartment is in Leicester's West End, walkable to the city centre, the bus and railway station, Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester University and De Montfort University, Leicester City's King Power football stadium, Leicester Tiger's Rugby ground and Grace Road Cricket ground. There is the King Richard III Visitor's Centre and the King's Cathedral burial site in the vibrant town centre, New Walk museum, the Roman Jewry Wall museum and of course the National Space Centre, Science Museum and Heritage site close by, Great Central Steam Train Railway, the Curve and De Montfort Theatre, the cultural quarter, Phoenix and Cinemas, plus many other local attractions. (Out in the countryside, Bradgate Park is a massive visitor attraction where there are deer roaming and where Lady Jane Grey once lived). There is quick, easy bus access to the city centre. There is also a lovely walk into the city centre along the canal/river (20mins). Easy access to Fosse Park Shopping, near the M1 (J21), M69 and M6, in fact we are in a superb central position for visiting other towns like Nottingham, Derby, Warwick Castle, Birmingham, East Midlands Airport, etc. The West End is a vibrant neighbourhood with multicultural shops, bars, restaurants and a vibrant nightlife just a 15 minute walk away in Braunstone Gate. Free on street parking permit during your stay.
