The cottage is situated on a 500-acre private nature reserve, jam packed with family activities, a perfect location for those seeking to be in the heart of nature with a variety of outdoor activities & Cotswold Water Park. It is one of a few of properties which includes free access to the onsite Spa -heated indoor pool, heated outdoor pool, steam room, eco pool & gym. Guests can also use the fishing lake, bike trails, tennis courts, football pitch, kayaks, table tennis, soft-play & playgrounds. The space Foxtrot House is a family vacation cottage with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms (1 ensuite), open plan living area, inglenook fireplace and log burner and super-fast WIFI. Downstairs the property is an open plan living room and dining room plus a kitchen with separate doors. The dining table has seating for up to 8 adults. The kitchen is stocked with a fan oven, electric hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and crockery and cutlery for 8. Basic cooking supplies like mixing bowls, roasting trays, pots, pans are provided. There is a dishwasher and washing machine and every rental includes a convenience pack with dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, comprised of a master bedroom with an ensuite (with electric power shower), a queen double (with beautiful lake views), a twin bunkbed room and a single bedroom. The bunkbed room has been transformed into a woodland room with windows looking out onto a fairy glen from the bottom bunk, and a secluded forest from the top bunk. The dreamy skyview single room feels like you are in the open air where you can drift off amongst the clouds! all painted by a local artist. Bedding is included, with each bed being made up with pillows and duvet. There is a family bathroom upstairs (bath and shower) and a WC downstairs, added to the ensuite making 2.5 bathrooms. A toilet roll is provided in each bathroom, and a hand towel and hand soap is left in each bathroom. A larger towel will also be provided for each booked guest but please bring your own swimming pool towels. Outside we have a decking area, feel free to enjoy a bbq (charcoal available at onsite store or local shops), dining right beside the infant Thames which babbles along the side of the house. The property is moments from scenic lakes that are rich in nature and wildlife, with plenty of opportunity for boating and fishing, while cyclists and runners can take advantage of the fresh clean air away from busy traffic, thanks to a network of private footpaths. Bike, canoe, kayak and paddle board hire is available from the onsite activities hub. The property comes with free access to the onsite award winning Spa, indoor & outdoor pool, steam and gymnasium (this benefit does not come with all the properties on site). Guest access Guests are welcome to use the whole property. Other things to note There is a licensed restaurant and pizza shack onsite and a village pub off site about 10 mins walk away, while Cirencester and its wide range of shops, restaurants and places of interest is about 10 mins drive away. We want to keep the property accessible to and enjoyable by all so unfortunately, we cannot accommodate smoking. Children are very welcome! Booking length is normally a 3 night minimum, but shorter stays may considered on request outside of school holidays / half terms. Heating & Electricity is included, please use economically, as is a hair dryer, travel cot and highchair. Please note that due to site rules hen / stag and other parties or gatherings are prohibited both on site and at this property. The property is on a site designed with a family ethos and for quiet rest and relaxation.
