Relax in the peace and quiet of South West Scotland. Couthie Brae is in Scotland’s Book Town, close to local amenities but set in its own large, quite wild garden with space to relax and play. Sleeping up to six in 3 bedrooms, Couthie Brae is great for families, but also comfortable and cosy for a single traveller or a couple holidaying on their own. Recently completely refurbished, with a modern kitchen and 3 bath/shower rooms. Comfortable seating and smart tv with freeview and free WiFi access for logging into your own streaming accounts. 2 King size beds, one of which can be split into two singles. Also small double bed in third bedroom. One full bathroom, 1 en-suite shower room and extra shower room. All fully refurbished with all new fittings and furnishings. Large front garden and drive, and dog secure back garden, perfect for playing in. Couthie Brae is a bungalow and it’s easy to move around in the house. The garden is quite hilly though! Guest access Plenty of off road parking at Couthie Brae. There are local country buses, good roads for bikes, plus off-road cycling opportunities close at hand. A car would be an advantage to make the most of what the area has to offer. Other things to note Please get in touch before booking if you have any questions, or would like to bring your dog. We charge from £25 extra per stay for dogs. In common with many UK self catering properties, we do not supply toiletries for guests. We don’t expect you to do major cleaning, but you may choose to bring your favoured surface cleaner and washing up liquid., along with laundry liquid/powder if you think you may need to use the washing machine. There will be a few dishwasher tablets to start you off. Likewise, there may be a few Nespresso pods to start you off, but if you wish to use the machine, please bring your own Original pods. (min 3 nights).
