Welcome to Frenchville Haven, a modern and comfortable studio set in the foothills of the Berserker Ranges and overlooking the city of Rockhampton. Frenchville Haven backs on to a national park area and yet is less than 5 mins walk to a popular, safe walking track in bushland surroundings, a bus stop and a coffee shop with a great atmosphere and tasty treats. The studio is is decorated in a restful theme and offers peace and privacy to our guests. The space Frenchville Haven is a spacious studio including Queen bed, single trundle bed, ensuite, lounge, cupboards, large desk, microwave, bar fridge, jug, toaster, clothes airer, and television. Wi-Fi and reverse-cycle aircon/fan with an option of having a cross-trainer (exercise machine) are included at no extra cost. For the sole use of guests, there is a modern ensuite with shower, toilet, sink and plenty of cupboard space. Linen, cutlery, soap, toilet paper, shampoo, coffee, tea, sugar and breakfast are all supplied. At the moment, undercover parking and cooking facilities are not included. On request, your hosts will wash and dry clothes on behalf of guests however a laundromat is close. You can be assured that there will be plenty of room for your belongings. Outside the living area is a private outdoor patio with seating and views of the surrounding area. Soak up the afternoon sun and relax after a busy day. Providing easy access to a variety of attractions and services, Frenchville Haven is well placed to be your base for both business and recreation. Driving distances are as follows: Less than 5 mins to supermarkets, laundromats, takeaway and Mt Archer National Park Close to First Turkey Mountain Bike Track 10 mins to CQUniversity and Stockland Shopping Fair 15 mins to Rockhampton CBD and Rockhampton Showgrounds 20 mins to Rockhampton Hospital and airport 35 mins to Yeppoon Main Beach Guest access PLEASE NOTE: The guest area is in the lower storey of the hosts' home. The whole area is closed off for guests only to use. Other things to note Entry: Guest parking is on the road in front of the letterbox. You are welcome to drive up the driveway to drop off belongings before parking. After guests have parked, there is a rise in the front yard to walk up to the lower storey of the house where the studio is situated. Please walk on the grass up the rise as the driveway is occasionally slippery. Prior to arrival, details of a safe, locked box will be provided so guests can access the key and leave and enter any time they wish. With prior notice, we are happy to welcome early arrivals.
