Winterwarm Cottage and Wine Tasting.

Winterwarm Cottage is the guest house of my rustic mini-farm. It offers a cozy, comfortable getaway and a chance to meet and mingle with a variety of friendly farm animals . Centrally located between the beaches and Temecula Wine Country, both an easy 30 minute drive away, and right around the corner from the Fallbrook Winery. Included in your stay of 3 days or more can be a complimentary wine tasting at the beautiful Fallbrook Winery, ($40 value) or with a 2 day stay, a 2 for 1 tasting. The space PLEASE NOTE: My animals and I are aging out of the mini farm. Nobody's going anywhere soon but if you're main purpose is to visit the animals, please inquire to ensure they're all still here! Also, I have travel plans off and on from mid April on, so even though the animals will be here and I will have housesitters, if the animals are your primary reason for visiting, depending on the sitter, you might not get the personalized meet and greet (you can still visit them) so again, just ask before booking to ensure no disappointments! ALSO: the number of guests is listed as 4 but this means 2/3 adults max, (air mattress provided) We welcome and have accomodated families with one or two children, they just have to "camp out" on floor. Winterwarm Cottage is the guest house studio of my private and secluded Fallbrook property. Tucked away at the end of a long driveway off of a quiet lane, the property is a fenced and gated acre and a half that I share with an assortment of very friendly farm animals, many of whom are rescues. It offers a private and bucolic getaway just 2 hours from LA. The cottage itself is a 500 sq. foot semi-detached studio with two private entrances. It features a well equipped kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator, a queen-sized bed , a private bathroom with shower, wifi and TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. There is a shady courtyard that is shared with the main house that is perfect for relaxing, or, for more privacy, a side yard with chairs and an umbrella and a gas grill. It is best suited for 2 people, but we can accommodate 1 or 2 children or 3 friends, with the air mattress, just ask. ***A limited amount of complimentary wine tastings at Fallbrook Winery, just around the corner, are available to guests who book stays of 3 or more days. Please inquire when booking. Complimentary 2 for 1 tastings are available for guests who book for 2 days.*** ***In appreciation of all law enforcement does for us, I am happy to offer complimentary one or two day stays to all current law enforcement when possible IF the cottage is not booked 48 hours in advance of your desired stay on weekdays. (sorry no weekends) just send me an inquiry with information on your branch of service (please no Instant Book) and your only charge will be a $50 cleaning fee.*** PLEASE NOTE: the number of guests is listed as 4 but this means 2/3 adults max, 1 or 2 children can fit tightly with 2 adults. Note that this is advertised as an Air BnB stay, not an Experience. 90% of the time I am home and usually love, and have spent hundreds of hours, sharing my animals and time with the guests and/or their children, and if I am travelling, generally one of my wonderful cohosts are more than willing and able to step in. But, there may be times when a host is not available to supervise the more personal interactions with the animals. Most of the time when I am not home, a housesitter or co-host will be staying so that you will not be alone on the property on the rare times that I am not home. If you have concerns, send me an inquiry, and I can let you know if I have a planned trip coming up. I have a two night minimum but can be open to one night stays, just ask. Guest access I encourage my guests to feel as if this is their home away from home. You are welcome to all parts of the property; I find that a lot of the guests enjoy hanging out at the barn and visiting with the animals. I am generally around and more than happy to introduce you to all the animals, but note I do travel from time to time; more information is given in the section The Space. Other things to note Please read and acknowledge before booking to help ensure that there will be no disappointments with your stay. Only 2/3 adults max, can fit 2 children a bit tightly but can be done. Because of all of my animals, including 3 dogs, my official policy is no pets but I'm open to discussion on a case by case basis. It probably goes without saying that one should like animals if they stay here! My neighbor's chicken coop is within earshot of the guesthouse and her roosters are early birds. I do supply earplugs and a radio, but please note, some of my personal guests have been bothered by this, though none of my Air BnB guests have considered it a problem. (and I ask) There is a laundry room next door which you may hear me entering from time to time. Because of the barnyard atmosphere, flies and mosquitos can be a seasonal nuisance. Spray will be provided! Because I love nature and the environment, I do not systematically use pesticides or poisons. Therefore, very occasionally insects, rodents, reptiles or other such creatures that occur in nature may appear. No refunds will be given in case of the presence of any of these creatures. Also please note. This is the guest house on my rustic mini-farm/home, not a 5 star inn. (and I think priced accordingly) I try my very hardest to keep the cottage as clean, tidy and comfortable as possible, but with 15 plus animals to take care of, I may miss a cobweb or two, or a little dust on the baseboards.
