The space Country House Retreat — 2BR/1BA with Fireplace & Views A cozy, story-filled farmhouse with plenty of country charm—curated décor, big windows, and a stone wood-burning fireplace for slow evenings in. Perfect home base for families or small groups. Sleep Bedroom 1: Queen bed, plush linens, classic country touches Bedroom 2: Queen bed + twin bunk (sleeps up to 4) Sleeps up to 6 comfortably Kitchen & Dining Full kitchen: range/oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, and essentials Dining area for 4–6 for unhurried meals and game nights Living & Laundry Comfy seating and farmhouse accents throughout Wood-burning fireplace (wood provided in season) In-unit washer & dryer Bath Full bathroom with shower/tub combo, fresh towels, and starter toiletries Outdoors & Setting Peaceful country views, shade trees, and wide lawns Plenty of parking and room to spread out Other things to note Multi-unit property: Add more space by booking the 2-person cabins, 1-person micro-cabin, or 2-person canvas wall tent—great for retreats or extended family. Owner lives onsite—happy to keep to himself or share porch stories over lemonade, your call. Pets: Friendly pets welcome; one resident dog on the property. Camping: Space for RVs/tents (water hookups available, no power or dump—ask first). Unplugged stay: No internet on the property—come ready to disconnect. Guest access Guests have use of the property. There are 2 additional porta potties located on the property to accommodate larger groups. There are two sitting areas as well as two fire pit tables with umbrellas. Guests are welcome to take a walk around the country side. Pastures are available for horses for an additional fee. Message for information. Other things to note The primary heat in the house is a wood burning stove. Electric heaters are also provided. A one acre pasture is available for guests with large animals. A great overnight stop for hunters or other guests who may be traveling with livestock.
