The cottage is a private, peaceful oceanside getaway. Guests have the option of using kayaks and California Cruiser bikes. The accommodation provides accommodation to local adventure clubs; guests are invited to choose an activity (or two) during their stay. The cottage boasts gorgeous ocean views. Whales, otters, sea lions, and eagles can be seen depending on the time of year. During the cooler months the wood stove provides a gorgeous heat and seasoned dry firewood and kindling are provided. The space The cottage is quiet and private it sits alongside the ocean. There is a narrow road in front that is primarily used by walkers, runners, bikers, and slow moving vehicles. Simply walk across the narrow lane to access the small path to the beach and ocean. The cottage is heated by baseboards, and space heaters during the winter months.The wood stove is a delight, and easy to use. There is seasoned, cut firewood/kindling available and at the ready. Other things to note The cottage depends on rain water collection during the winter months and during the summer months the water comes from both a low producing well and water delivery. Bottled water is provided for your drinking and cooking pleasure. After a heavy rainfall the tap water may be appear slightly discoloured, during the initial filtration, this is not a problem for bathing and running the dishwasher or washing machine.
