Under 40 miles away is the final destination for the Camino de Santiago pilgrims; The world famous Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, a "must see" cultural highlight. Many pilgrims prefer to prolong it and end in Finisterre or Muxía through Dumbría. About 10 miles around there are some beautiful, unspoilt, secluded beaches-space to breathe. Nearby are the famous waterfall of Ézaro and the rapids and waterfalls of Muxía- "Cascadas del río Castro"- pack the BBQ for a great day out! Travel directly to Santander or Bilbao from the UK with Brittany Ferries. After a scenic drive of under 7 hours arrive at your holiday home.
