The rower's house is located on top of the hill overlooking Lake Varese, surrounded by 5000 square meters of land planted with olive trees and green lawns. From the entire property you can see suggestive sunrises and fabulous sunsets. The Lake Varese bike path is within walking distance, 700 meters away. Great starting point for visiting the Borromean Islands on Lake Maggiore, and Lake Como. Tourist tax to be paid at the property of €1 per person (adults) per night for a maximum of €7 per year. The space Spacious two-room apartment with every comfort The spacious and bright two-room apartment has a double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room, ideal for families or couples looking for relaxation. The room is equipped with a 32" TV, quiet air conditioning, mosquito nets and electric shutters for optimal comfort. The bathroom is spacious and modern, complete with a walk-in shower, bidet, sink with cabinet and washing machine. The heat pump guarantees hot water at will. The kitchen is fully equipped: refrigerator with freezer, traditional oven, induction hob, kettle, toaster, immersion blender, dishes, glasses and pots of all kinds, guests also have everything they need to cook (oil, vinegar, salt and coffee, soluble drinks, biscuits and various jams) — perfect for those who love to cook even on vacation. The two-room apartment is equipped with bed, bath, and kitchen linens. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. 🚭 Upon request, you can add: an extra single bed, or a camping bed and a high chair for the little ones. Guests can store their bicycles in a covered garage (they are not allowed to be brought into the apartment). From the windows you can enjoy a view of the garden; however, from the entire property you can admire a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Varese. 💶 Accommodation tax: €1 per person (adults) per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights per year, to be paid at the property. 🌀 Dryer use: €1.50 per drying cycle. Guest access The apartment is part of a large house inhabited by the host's family, has an independent entrance, and can be reached by an external staircase. Starting on foot from the house, you can take beautiful walks through fields and woods, and visit the small village of Mustonate with its stables or reach in a few minutes the cycle-pedestrian path of Lake Varese that winds for 32 km around the lake, where you can also rent bicycles. In the surrounding area, there is the Voltorre Cloister, the Virginia islet, the Sacro Monte and Varese, the Estensi gardens, its churches and historic houses. A car is essential. Other things to note Tourist tax of €1 per night (adults only) for a maximum of 7 nights per year to be paid at the property. The Casa del Canottiere is an official "doyoubike" point, an initiative of the Chamber of Commerce that wants to encourage cycling tourism throughout the province, providing itineraries, with illustrative material, and other initiatives. There is room in the property for storing bicycles. Nearby, you can experience the thrill of flight, in a glider, (2 km from the property) or paragliding 20 km from the house) more info on my "guide". The bus stop is 750 meters away, and in about 20 minutes you can reach the center of Varese, "the garden city" with Palazzo Estense, Villa Toeplitz, Villa Panza and other historic houses and churches. The North railway station of Casciago is 2 km away with connections to Milan or Laveno where you can embark for a tour of the islands of Lake Maggiore. The highway entrance for the A 8 is about 8 km away, the Swiss border is about 20 km away, and Malpensa airport is 30 km away. Please note that there is no lake view from the apartment but you can see the garden, but from the whole property you can see a spectacular view of Lake Varese.
