Family Friendly! Walk to Downtown Franklin
Family Friendly! Walk to Downtown Franklin
Description
Welcome to our home! This house was built in 1979 and we have been the proud owners since 1997. We moved in with a two-year old and 7-month old and eventually 2 more came along! We have loved making this house our home for the past 29 years. Several times we explored the idea of moving to a larger home and we couldn't find one we loved as much! We are now empty nesters and "on the go" so we thought why not share our amazing home -- and hometown -- with those who are visiting! The space When you enter our home it is our hope you will find it to be a place where you will experience peace, restoration and much laughter during your stay in Franklin. You will have the entire home to yourself. We love the location because it’s close to everything! The interstate is less than 2 miles, providing easy access to Downtown Nashville (20 miles) and the airport (23 miles). Downtown Franklin, where we love to shop, eat, and attend festivals and monthly art crawls, is about a mile away and an easy 20-minute walk! Half way in between our home and downtown Franklin is Pinkerton Park, where you can put in kayaks, walk, hike up to Fort Granger, have picnics and let the kids enjoy the huge playground! Harlinsdale Farm (1.7 miles or a 10-minute bike ride) is close by too. It's a great place to watch beautiful sunsets and hike the trails. Cool Springs is a 10-15 minute drive with all the major box stores, chain restaurants and mall. Don't feel like getting out? One of our favorite spaces in our home is the patio. We love to be out there as much as possible! We try to have firewood available for chilly nights if you want a fire in the firepit or in the fireplace! Guest access Parking is available in the street or the driveway. Other things to note We love to hike, bike, Kayak and play pickle ball. If you are into that kind of thing too then you are more than welcome to use our stuff. Our bikes are the leisure kind that you would use to go to the park or downtown Franklin, not so much for long country road bike rides! We also have 2 kayaks with paddles/life jackets that you are more than welcome to use! There are 4 pickle ball courts behind the Williamson County Library at Academy park--feel free to borrow our paddles and balls!
