“Cairn”, our rental home, is spacious and serene with the warmth of wood floors and a gorgeous brick fireplace. It is surrounded by spectacular beauty: wildlife, trees, the Pacific Ocean, Olympic mountains and endless sky with countless stars on clear nights. All seasons have great beauty to experience. From watching winter storms and kite surfers by a roaring fire while enjoying Janis’ homemade scones to enjoying beautiful scenery, walks and hikes all year round. Available for weekly rental. The space Cairn was lovingly constructed by my husband John, a builder/designer, using as much re-cycled materials and as many natural products as possible. It reflects our Irish-Cuban-English backgrounds and our many travels. Our two storey house with twelve foot high solid wood beamed-supported ceilings sits on 9 acres and overlooks Gordon’s Beach and the Olympic mountains. The side of the house you would be staying at is completely separate and private with your own deck and entrance. Most of the house has hardwood floors and the living room has beautiful large open brick fireplace to enjoy on cool or stormy days while enjoying a delicious homemade scone or muffin freshly made by me. The bedrooms upstairs have beautiful ocean and mountain views. The third downstairs bedroom is a clean, cozy space. This smaller bedroom has no windows . Guest access Our guests are free to walk around the lower acres of our property or sit and enjoy the views. Other things to note We also have a separate Airbnb listing, “Private Loft Studio-Above Gordons Beach”, a studio apartment on the same property but completely separate.
