Loonsong Cottage

This beautiful lake front property is a northern Michigan gem. Nestled on the west side of the lake, it provides ample opportunities to take in a sunrise or sunset over the lake. The cottage is set up to sleep four people, with great amenities. Our space offers a work friendly area, indoor fire place, outdoor fire pit, waterfront with two kayaks, deck overlooking the lake. There is a boat rental place in the area if guests are interested in spending the day on the water. Guests are also welcome to swim, just be sure to wear water shoes! The lake is clear and gets up to 150 feet deep in areas. There are some zebra muscles. We have various pairs of water shoes for guests and the general store has some for sale if we don't have your size. Guest access Guest have access to all the property has to offer except for the garage. We have a shared driveway with designated parking spots in front of the garage. Other things to note We do allow pets, but charge an additional $50 for cleaning if you are going to have your pet friend join you during your stay. We also ask that all guests clean up after their pets inside and outside in the yard. We have recently fenced in the backyard of the cottage with a white 4' tall vinyl fence. We ask that guests do not leave their dogs unattended in the backyard, please clean up any dog waste and please prevent their dogs from digging holes. If for some reason it is unpreventable, please fill the hole back in. We have provided a couch cover for pets to prevent water, dirt and hair from getting on the couch. We also have dog towels dedicated to cleaning off wet and dirty dogs.
