We allow dogs as a convenience for traveling dog owners, but only well trained ones are welcome. Please note the fee is to be paid upon arrival and not through this site (there is no option to make the fee nightly rather than per stay). A NOTE ABOUT THE HOT TUB: By booking this house, guests agree to the house rules and agree to use the hot tub at their own risk. Owner and property manager are not responsible for death or injury caused from misuse of the hot tub. Guest agrees to the conditions set forth in the house description regarding the hot tub. Please add a capful of Chlorine granules after use. Use the dip sticks next to the tub to test the chemicals before adding any (I have someone who adds chemicals every week so you shouldn't have to add any). Turn bubbles on if adding chemicals. Please shower before using the hot tub if you have lotion or sunscreen on. -Due to the small size of the tub, water is often displaced and has to be added to the tub. Please keep the hose in good order if you have to use it. -In the winter, it is extremely important to disconnect the hose from the house and replace the hose bib cover to keep the pipes from freezing. If the pipes freeze due to guest negligence, the guest will be liable for the cost to fix the issue. More info on the tub is in the house binder. Minors should not use the hot tub. Permit #: STR-ALDR410 Max Occupancy: 4 Parking Spots On Site: 2 Guests have access to the whole house and front and back yard. There are no shared spaces. There is more info about the hot tub in the binder and the house rules. Use of the wood stove is available for an additional cleaning fee of $15, or $25 including wood. Otherwise, guests must provide their own wood. Use of the garage is not included. I live next door and am available in person and via text or phone calls. Do not hesitate to call with any questions or concerns! Oh, Alder Street...we love you!! You are one block up from the main street through town (Mt. Shasta Blvd) but the house is located on the peaceful quiet street that is Alder. From the front of the house, you have a great view of the Eddies. There is also a great mountain view off the back of the house. The proximity to town and Sisson Meadow make this the ideal base from which to explore the area. If you plan on shopping and hanging out in town, you do not need a car. However, if you want to explore, you will need some wheels. There is bus service, but it will not get you far. -Hot tub to be used at your own risk. Please see the note about the hot tub in the house description. We provide hot tub Turkish towels-please do not use the bath towels. -The day before you arrive, I will send a message with all the info you need about the house. -There are additional fees for pets and fireplace usage. -The shower head cannot be adjusted. Please don't try to move it.
