1936 typical Gaspésian ancestral house located on the St-Lawrence River, on the coastal road (132) in Cap-Chat. Terrace with sea view. Backyard right on the beach where you can walk for miles. Ideal, summer and winter, for your hiking, off-road skiing or snowmobiling expeditions in the Chic-Chocs. Our house offers you convenience and easy access to the different tourist attractions of Haute-Gaspésie. The space Completely divided two-generation house with separate entrances/exits (one of the owners lives there year-round and has a dog). On the ground floor: Front veranda, 3 seasons. Living room/kitchen in double room. Fully-equipped kitchen. Please note that there is no sea view on the ground floor 2nd Floor: 5 Bedrooms with Double Bed (Bedding Included Summer) 2 bedrooms with single bed (bedding included summer) A reading room and play area for children. Bathroom with bath/shower. Lots of board games for rainy days. Back yard: 1 terrace on the second floor with sea view and Cap-chat! Private picnic area (backyard) with large table, Bbq and outdoor fireplace (when the wind allows) 3 kayaks with paddles and skirts. Children's games to have fun in the sand (buckets, shovels, car, etc.) There is no washer/dryer on site, however there is a laundry room in Sainte-Anne-des-monts, located a few minutes from the house. Baby equipment on site: playpen, high chair, swing and small bath bed. The house is suitable for a maximum of 8-10 adults with children , non-smoking, no pets. *** Note that bedding is not included for winter stays of 5 nights and less***** Guest access Car, motorbike, snowmobile, bike or walk. Other things to note The house retains its original character, positioning of rooms and windows, interior wood, paint, floor, insulation and soundproofing from yesteryear.
