The flat is most suited for respectful families or individuals who need a place to relax and rest after a day out. Please note that the flat is not suitable for social gatherings or parties. There are three neighbours in the block who are easily disturbed by loud conversations or noise. Recent complaints have led me to address this issue and unfortunately leave some negative reviews for guests. I always keep it tidy, but it does contain my personal items. The main bedroom, in particular, will have some of my clothing, though I will create space for your belongings if needed. • The sleeping option in the living room is an air mattress, best suited for children or hardy adults. It takes up a fair bit of space, so I usually leave it out ready for setup but deflated. • There will be some train noise, as we're close to the station. • The maisonette is accessed via stairs and may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. • Enquiries sent on Tuesday and Thursday evenings may receive a slower reply, as I teach karate classes during these times and my phone is switched off. • The garden is shared with my downstairs neighbour, but you'll have access to my own section. Other things to note Breakfast - some guests enjoy it, while others prefer to skip it. To accommodate everyone's different tastes and expectations, I have chosen not to provide breakfast and keep the room price low. There are plenty of shops and cafes in town to ensure you won't go hungry. You're welcome to bring your own items to refrigerate and make basic use of the kitchen facilities. Complimentary coffee and tea are always available. Being close to the train station is convenient but also means there is some train noise. The train line is concealed at the bottom of an embankment at the end of the garden, so please be aware that you might hear some train traffic if you're not accustomed to it. My place is a two-level maisonette with access to my floor via a stairway, which unfortunately may make it unsuitable for some disabled guests. The building is a block of four separate apartments which means there are neighbours. Guests are politely asked to be mindful of this with regards to noise levels. Smokers are welcome to smoke outside. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the supplied jar.
