Skylark Cottage is a beautiful 3 storey 3 bedroom period cottage with first floor south facing balcony right in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea. There is a wonderful south facing patio with a six seater table and chairs to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine. The ground floor has a covered porch, open plan sitting/dining room with a newly fitted log burner. The first floor has a master bedroom with French doors leading out onto a full width south facing balcony with rattan furniture. The space Skylark Cottage is a three bedroom cottage, set over three floors, located in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea and is just a stones throw from the Quay where the infamous sailing boat The Albatross is moored. Skylark Cottage has contemporary and coastal interiors throughout, with touches of traditional features that create a homely feel within this property, with the added benefit of an upstairs balcony and sunny courtyard with bistro seating. Wells-next-the-Sea is a beautiful coastal town in North Norfolk, with boutique and independent shops, restaurants, pubs and your typical coastal features including arcades, ice cream and fish and chip shops. The sandy beach at Wells is a delightful day out for the whole family, and the Miniature Beach Train that runs from the town to the beach during the summer months is an activity in itself! Skylark Cottage has a well-equipped, contemporary kitchen with traditional features. There is a state of the art Rangemaster gas cooker, fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave and a Nespresso machine (a starter pack of coffee pods are provided). In the outbuilding opposite the cottage front door, you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer, large fridge-freezer and plenty of storage for all your outdoor gear! Through the front door, you’ll find the open plan sitting and dining room. The sitting room offers a cosy space to relax, with comfortable sofas, a newly fitted log burner and television. The pine dining table comfortably seats 6 guests. Through the sitting room you will find a fully equipped kitchen. Up the stairs is the double master bedroom with built in clothes storage. A huge feature of this master bedroom is the balcony with outside seating. This is a real sun- trap balcony, perfect for sitting out on a hot summers morning enjoying your coffee, or relaxing at the end of the day watching the sunset disappear behind the tiled rooftops. The family bathroom has a W.C, sink, large bath and separate overhead shower. The two further bedrooms are located up another set of stairs, which really creates a den-vibe for the little ones or a peaceful space for adults. The second bedroom has wonderful king size bed. The third bedroom is a snug double and probably more suited for children Skylark Cottage has a sunny courtyard with a set of bistro seating, perfect for alfresco dining on a hot summers evening or enjoying a hot drink in the morning before your day begins. Other things to note We allow up to two well behaved dogs at a cost of £30 per dog.
