Ye Olde Butchery. 3 bed Islington townhouse.
Description
A beautiful family property, steeped in history in the heart of Islington / Clerkenwell. Ye Olde Butchery is a Grade II listed, Georgian townhouse set across 4 floors, with triple aspect and fabulous shopfront offering tonnes of light. Completely renovated a couple of years ago to high standard. Built in 1789 it offers a truly unique taste of old London, with all the luxuries of modern living. 3 bed, wood flooring throughout, quirky historical details and fantastic garden. The space Ye Olde Butchery is a truly unique property, one that we lovingly brought back to life over the last few years. It's got period features throughout as well as reclaimed oak flooring. It's a great size for 2 adults and 2 children, or two couples. There's two large bedrooms - one king size that is ensuite (Jack and Jill doors) and a large double bedroom on the top floor , which has a baby cot in it. There is an additional 3rd bedroom / nursery complete with child's bed, changing table, storage etc. The property is Grade II Listed and of historical significance and has everything from wood burning stove to underfloor heating as well as all the mod-cons - new kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, super fast broadband etc. It's on a very quiet, historic street (it looks like a set from a period drama) with no through traffic, so is exceptionally quiet. It is ideal for families or small groups looking to be centrally located. We also had the garden redone in recent months with outdoor dining area for barbecues. It is a family home, rather than a pure holiday rental, so please note that there will be some family items, child's toys, books etc in the property. The nursery is in the second large bedroom with one cot and one child's bed, while the guest bedroom is in the smaller of the rooms and has a standard double. Guest access During your stay, please make yourself at home, you have access to all that the house offers. We just ask that you don't have rowdy parties as it's our family home, so ask that you respect it in the way you would your own. thanks.
