Hidden Forest Cabin Near Bangor & Acadia

Welcome to the Hidden Forest Cabin – a cozy log cabin tucked among the trees at Meadow Ridge Farm in Winterport, Maine. This little woodland retreat is perfect if you’re visiting Bangor or Belfast, or making your way to explore Acadia National Park (just an hour away!). The space 🛏️ Sleeping Arrangements 1 private queen bedroom + 2 loft nooks (one with two twins, one with a queen). Sleeps up to 6 comfortably. 🏡 The Space A simple, rustic cabin with: Living room with loveseat + chairs Functional bathroom (sink + standing shower) Stocked kitchen with dishes, utensils, cookware Roku TV + DVD player with movies Rocking chairs on the porch for morning coffee Linens are freshly washed. Please bring toiletries, food, and drinks. 🌲The Setting Front yard faces Route 1 (you will see/hear cars), but the back opens to a farm pond, woods, and wildlife. Peaceful, not remote. No fire pit (trees are too close) No washer/dryer Wi-Fi and Roku tv with streaming apps, no cable No parties (contact us is you're looking to host a group event) 📍 Location Winterport is a small town near Bangor. Nearby: pizza, grocery, Dunkin’, and a brewery in Hampden (7 min). Downtown Bangor is 10–15 minutes, Belfast 30 minutes, Acadia 1 hour, Portland 2 hours, Katahdin 1.5 hours. Many guests use the cabin as a base for Bangor/Belfast adventures or a stopover on the way to Acadia. Please note: the cabin is part of Meadow Ridge Farm, so you may see us or other guests at a distance on other parts of the property (farmhouse, barn, event spaces). Those areas are not included with your rental. The backyard area with views of the pond and surrounding woods is also available for you to enjoy, but you may see other guests exploring as well. Parking is available directly in front of the cabin. Other things to note Bring your own toiletries. NO SMOKING OR VAPING inside the cabin. There is not a washer/dryer in the cabin, but we can suggest a few laundromats in Bangor or Bucksport that offer wash/dry/fold services.
