You have easy access down a short, garden side pathway and gate to a sweet sandy beach cove, perfect for morning or sunset dips or just a 5-min coastal walk in the opposite direction; you are on the longest, sandiest, and safest beach on the South Coast - Great Bay Beach. The space Awandaweh Cottage is a tastefully decorated cottage with local art & furnishings. Two queen-size, air-conditioned bedrooms, each furnished with a private bathroom. A spacious, well-equipped kitchen with all of your cooking and dining needs. Marie, your Housekeeper, will ensure that your vacation is hassle-free and perfect in every way. She will pre-purchase your grocery needs and have an arrival dinner ready and waiting, or you are welcome to prepare your meals as you desire. This cottage provides a large open concept dining-living area with multiple French doors leading either to your private plunge pool and patio area, as well as a long verandah with outdoor dining on one side and an additional sitting area on the other. There is also a comfortable, second indoor sitting area to the side of the dining table to decompress with a book, listen to music. Just a short drive from Calabash Bay, this cottage is surrounded by lush lignum vitae trees and flowering bougainvillea, with the Santa Cruz Mountains on one side and the Caribbean sea only a stone's throw away. Awandaweh Cottage is the perfect island getaway for a couple, a set of close friends, or a larger group occupying the adjacent beachfront villa Driftwood. AWANDAWEH COTTAGE, combined with DRIFTWOOD, provides accommodations for up to 10 guests, 5-bedrooms, and 5-bathrooms in total. Awandaweh sleeps 1-4 with a flat-screen TV/DVD in living room, WiFi, board games, linens, and towels provided. Daily housekeeping and cooking with experienced and friendly staff.
