Surf City Hostel opened in 1996 in Hermosa Beach, California, and is located about 20 minutes' drive south of LAX Airport in one of the best areas of Los Angeles. Popular with guests include our location on the beach, the bars, nightclubs, restaurants within walking distance, supermarkets, and much more. And we are right in front of the beach! Be aware of noise since we are above a bar! We don't accept people living within 50 miles radius of Hermosa Beach, CA. We will ask for physical ID's The space This listing is for a females only dorm. You must be a female to be allowed to stay in this room type. Other things to note Please be aware that ITH Hermosa Beach Surf Hostel LAX is located in the entertainment district of Pier Plaza and is subject to higher-than-normal music levels from surrounding bar & restaurant venues...particularly Thursday - Saturday nights. We are located on the second and third floors. (No elevators/escalators) The entrance is small so you might miss it. Use the intercom on the front entrance to call us to let you in. A simple cook-it-yourself pancake breakfast is offered from 7 AM-9 AM. We do not have the option of gluten-free. All guests must reside at least 50 miles from Hermosa Beach to stay. You must have a physical and a valid government/state-issued or passport to check in. (Check-ins will not be accepted with photos or any other type of document that is not a valid physical ID.) You must have an ID outside of Los Angeles County. 14-day maximum stay within the calendar year. You must have Proof of on-going travel
