Your Hosts, Mai & Peter The space Our luxury rooms offer air-conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, minibar, flat screen TV (German / English), mini safe, extra long King size bed and en-suite bathroom. Each room has a private terrace with garden furniture, cushioned lounge chairs, large parasol and spectacular sea, mountain or garden view. Our rooms are beautifully furnished and offer you the kind of comfort you can expect from a very good house. Come home after an eventful day and your room invites you to relax and to feel comfortable. During your stay We are a service oriented B&B. Whatever you need, we are at your side with words and deeds. Here are some of the services we offer: Car rental reservation: We are happy to help you book a rental car. For several years we have been working together very satisfactorily with a local car rental company. Upon request, we can send you a quote in advance. And if you already have an offer, you can check the performance of our local provider. Where feasible, "CometCar" is looking forward to "beat" your offer. Service for golfers: Generally, there is no problem to get a start time even at short notice. However, in order to guarantee that you can play all your "preferred clubs" in high season, it is advisable to book your tee times 1-2 weeks prior to your arrival time. We will be happy to take care of it. You simply inform us of the clubs for which you wish to play, on which days you would like to play golf and what may be the earliest and latest start time you would like to play. We then book the clubs for you and on arrival there will be a list of tee times waiting for you. We are also avid golfers and are available for any questions at any time. Activity Tips: Cape Town, Somerset West and the surrounding area offer a wealth of worthwhile destinations and interesting meeting points. There is hardly a sport that you could not pursue here in the Western Cape.There is a variety of shopping opportunities, from the local art markets through the "Farmstalls", which are typical in South Africa to highly modern shopping arcades in Somerset West and Cape Tow. We are familiar with this region and ready to offer you assistance and advice whenever needed. You can expect one or the other tip that you will not find in your guidebook. Reservations & Bookings: Many wineries in the Cape are offering their guests the possibility of a "picnic" in the open air. Enjoy a selection of local "delicacies" in the original nature of the vineyards and the beautifully landscaped gardens. Treat yourself to a chilled Sauvignon Blanc or Rose and look forward to the luxury of having "time". Take advantage of the opportunity to test the delicious wines of South Africa. The wine growers at the Cape are looking forward to offer you a wine-tasting of their noble “drops”. We take over the organization and booking for you. When do you have time? Airport Transfer / Taxi: If you need airport transfer from the airport to us or from us to the airport, please let us know. We are happy to organize this for you. The same applies for taxis to wineries, restaurants or other destinations. The cost depends on the size of the vehicle, the number of people and the distance. You will get a quote in advance. Meals at the house: Especially our long-term guests do not want to visit a restaurant every day. Therefore we are happy to provide our guests with everything necessary in order to take a meal at the house on the sun terrace or on the terrace of the room. Restaurant advice and recommendations: The most beautiful end in the world is known for its versatility and quality of its restaurants. Here, African and Malaysian cuisines are mixed with influences from Europe to create a delicious cuisine at amazingly favourable prices. The offering goes from simple, but good places on the wide range of international cuisines to the top restaurants. Of the chosen "eatout" Top 10 restaurants in South Africa, no fewer than 9 are in the vicinity of Somerset West. So what would you like to do? Whatever it is, we recommend and reserve your "desired location". Golf: You love golf? Then you'll love South Africa. The most beautiful end in the world is rightly regarded as a paradise for golfers. Within a 45 minutes drive you can reach 12 golf courses. In case of up to 2 hours travel time 40 golf courses are available for your choice. Altogether there are 84 golf courses in the Western Cape area. So you can discover again and again new golf courses during your vacation time. We are happy to reserve tee times for you on your "favourite golf courses" in advance. This ensures that you won't have any problems because of a lack of available tee times. When you arrive, there is already a list with start times waiting in your room. This & That: There are many more occasions where we can help you. Whether it is the reservation of cultural offerings such as open air events, theatre, musicals and concerts, or an "introduction" to the left-hand traffic, which will incidentally be familiar in a very short time, or the assistance in the execution of a "traffic ticket" to active support in the event that you need medical assistance.
