The Granary Barn Conversion Sussex Countryside

A tranquil place to unwind with family and friends. The Granary is a well loved converted barn in rural Sussex. It is in the village of Fulking, six miles inland from the coast and Brighton in a stunning setting by the South Downs National Park. It has four and half acres of maintained gardens. It sleeps eight and the full height two story sitting room and a large and homely kitchen provide the perfect place for family gatherings or groups. There is plenty on offer nearby as well. The space The Granary has a large and well appointed kitchen dining room with a huge island perfect for gathering round - and a stunning vaulted sitting room with three comfy sofas - again perfect for gathering together with family and friends. There is a master bedroom with ensuite shower upstairs and on the ground floor there are two further bedrooms. One has two single beds (the twin room) and the other two adult sized bunk beds. There is a family bathroom downstairs with bath and walk in shower, and there is a further WC in the downstairs front hall. Guest access You will have access to the whole property, which is surrounded by the front garden as you enter (a sun trap in the evenings), the large covered porch/loggia outside the kitchen and the large back garden which includes a larger terrace, back lawn and access to a large field. There is a fenced pond in this field, as well as a drained pond and a stream along the bottom boundary. Other things to note The Granary is a lovely place to get away from it all, in the beautiful peace and tranquility of The Downs. We have lovely neighbours on either side of us who have chosen the location for the peace and quiet - we very respectfully ask that visitors bear this in mind when choosing this as a destination. It is a perfect place for family and friends to enjoy time together, however it is not a party house, and there must be no music played outdoors, or unreasonable noise outside in the evenings or at any other times.
