The Art House was a project we dreamed big on, for your style & comfort. It doubles as a gallery for the owners art collection-also for your pleasure! The Art House has all the private amenities one could need. A brand new kitchen that includes a 4-burner gas range, stainless steel hood (for your inner foodie), refrigerator, coffee maker, dishwasher, and 30 inch sink! Plenty of counter space too....and all the kitchen gadgets to do the job. The living area has a cozy, modern fireplace with walnut slab mantle- flatscreen hung above (smart tv, which allows you to log into your accounts- such as Netflix. Cable IS NOT provided) for your viewing pleasures, set below custom windows placed accordingly for your privacy. The floor plan is open concept, so while you are eating at the dining table you can still visit with those cooking or lounging by the fireplace. There is a full bathroom which includes a shower/tub combo with subway tile for a little timeless elegance. A walnut slab counter top for a rustic flare & a linen closet filled with all your bathroom needs-fresh towels, washcloths, shampoo/conditioner, soap and extra toilet paper. There are two bedrooms. One with a king bed, and the other with a full. Comfortable brand new mattresses and soft clean linens. There is a laundry room hidden behind our custom barn door in the hallway. Need to wash clothes? Have at it! All in the comfort of your own space. Our goal for your visit is an all around positive experience. Our property is a come & go at your pleasure. We will provide a welcome book with all the information needed to make your stay more comfortable. You should be set up for check-in & out on a private basis. There is a key code for your access, whether coming or going. The Art House is nestled on Magnolia Avenue which runs parallel with Highway 20 and sits under Burlington Hill. Highway 20 is a busy road, so there will be some road noise. The Art House is within distance to most amenities in the area. The Library, park, post office, local dining, shopping & groceries. There is a short drive to most popular recreational activities in the area. The famous tulip fields, the North Cascades (for hiking), Edison for the foodies delight, Chuckanut drive for outstanding sunset drives of the Bay. Anacortes for a ferry ride, Bellingham...the list goes on. Come discover the PACIFIC NORTH WEST (PNW)! Burlington & Mount Vernon are main hubs for the train system. Please, if train noise is bothersome in the evening, please bring ear plugs. Our house is also located next to a HWY and there is residual noise. We would love to turn the noise off, but unfortunately we can't. Hope you understand!
