Bryn Eithen: A beautiful renovated 5 bedroom Edwardian detached property with sea views in Langland, near to Mumbles village on the Gower Peninsular, Wales, combining traditional features with modern design. The space The top floor of the property offers 2 large sea-facing childrens’ rooms, one with bunk beds, plus a sofa bed and the other with 2 singles that can be ‘zip and linked’ into a King sized double bed. There is also a further charming double bedroom as well as a bathroom with separate bath, walk-in shower and WC. The 1st floor has a further 2 large double bedrooms with sea views, as well as a large stylish bathroom with a beautiful walk-in shower, WC, double basins, and a further separate WC off the landing. All of the double bedrooms are large enough to accommodate a cot or an additional child’s bed/mattress. The ground floor offers a stunning full width lounge/dining room (with dining table to seat 8, and 3 large sofas) with log burner, TV, and double French doors for access to the elegant front terrace with glass balustrading for further “al fresco” seating and dining options, with sea views. The terrace also offers a stylish cantilevered parasol to offer shade on both the rattan seating and dining table. There is also a stylish TV room/snug (with Xbox/Sky/Netflix) with a large L-Shaped sofa bed that doubles as the 6th bedroom - perfect as a kids cinema room or chill-out space. There is a separate WC on the ground floor and a utility room with washing machine/dryer and separate sink. Housed within the elegant porch is a cloakroom with ample space for coats, boots and shoes. The large bespoke kitchen/diner at the rear of the house offers seating for 12 to dine simultaneously, using the corner table and kitchen island. This amazing space includes a double Fisher & Paykel oven, induction hob, 2 fridges, a larder and unique breakfast cupboard allowing ease of catering for large groups. The large crittall doors allow for indoor/outdoor living, effortlessly linking the kitchen with the back terrace and lovely pergola seating area, as well as access to the child friendly large back elevated garden. The Games room is located at the back of the garden and houses a pool/table tennis/air hockey table along with a darts board. There is a sofa and further games console. The games room also has blue tooth speakers and Wi-Fi is available. Also outside is the bbq (gas) area, outdoor kitchen and stunning warm outdoor shower (with separate foot wash), ideal after a day on the beach, with adjacent wetsuit drying rack. A true labour of love, the house has undergone serious renovation since we purchased it in 2018, in order to become the beautiful family home it is today. Our family adore living here and whilst we hope you thoroughly enjoy your stay, and make the most of all it has to offer, we also equally hope you can respect our wonderful home. Guest access: The property allows for private parking for up to 3 cars, and there is further unrestricted parking within 100m. Other info: The house has free wifi, 2 flatscreen TV’s with Sky (film and sport package), Amazon Prime, Netflix, X-Box, Wii, and blue-tooth kitchen speakers. Outdoor patio heaters are available for use on both terraces. There are a number of books, board games and children’s toys for guests to use. We offer free use of some foam surfboards, body boards and buckets and spades, but ask guests to use responsibly and respectfully. The house is non-smoking. We do not accept stag/hen parties or loud parties in respect of the neighbours. We would like to inform guests that we are committed to providing a clean and safe home for their stay. A rigorous and enhanced clean will be carried out, prior to your stay, by a professional team, insuring that all surfaces have been sanitised, in line with AirBnB advice and protocol.
