A cosy cottage overlooking a ford, adjacent to stunning Rutter Force waterfall, in the tranquil Eden valley, between Lake District and the Dales. Wild swimming available on site. Sleeps two couples in king size bed in bedroom plus double sofa bed in lounge. Fully equipped, with free Wi-Fi. No children under twelve allowed for safety reasons. Beside a pretty river and adjacent to an amazing waterfall, it's a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature. We have red squirrels, otters and wonderful birdlife, including herons and kingfishers. You won't want to leave! Guest access Guests have access to the riverside garden and sitting area. There are lots of public footpaths locally, including one that passes directly behind the property. Other things to note We don't allow smoking in Ford Cottage. For safety reasons no under-twelves may stay in Ford Cottage. Well behaved pets by arrangement. Weekly stays must begin on a Friday. Shorter stays (3 night min) must begin on Friday, Monday or Tuesday.
