Needing a place to forget the hustle of life to focus on what’s important? Sweet solitude provides a quiet, romantic getaway for you and your bestie to enjoy the beauty of nature! Our cabin is locally sourced. The timbers were sawed at a local hemlock mill. The exterior is made of boards we had milled from old pines along US Hwy 322. Even the stones we laid for the fireplace once splashed in a local creek. The space This is a getaway. No neighbors in sight. No row of other dwellings. The whole place is yours alone. Live in the woods. Listen to the birds. Watch the wildlife. Talk to each other. Unwind. Recharge. Built with the intention of giving our guests a quiet place to get away from the hectic schedules of today’s world, we intentionally did not install TV or Wi-Fi, though we do note that we have excellent cell service with most service providers. The hot tub is not under a roof so our guests get a chance to look at the stars while relaxing. The front porch offers the perfect spot to listen to rain on a metal roof or to hear the birds sing. The fire ring in the the yard gives a woodsy feel and guests are welcome to use the firewood provided in the garage. We hope our sweet solitude will help couples get first things first and build healthy relationships. Being quiet helps us think straight. Guest access Please note our ladder stairs to the bedroom.
