Dove’s Nest is a charming 1 bedroom 600 square foot log cabin tucked on a secluded ridge and enveloped by a tranquil hardwood forest. Enjoy the peaceful scenery from the comfort of your private deck, outfitted with a rejuvenating hot tub or enjoy your morning coffee from the front porch swing. You’ll also find a barbecue grill & a picnic table beside the home. This cabin like most Smoky Mountain cabins has satellite internet which may or may not work and when it does work it could be very slow. Dove's Nest is located in the heart of the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community, offering a quiet locale with easy access to local attractions. Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are all within reach. Inside, you'll find a stylish interior that reflects the natural beauty of the surroundings. The hand-rubbed log walls, hardwood floors in the kitchen, antique furniture, and unique artwork by local wildlife artist, Grace Dyer, create a warm & inviting atmosphere. The living area is furnished with a comfortable leather sofa where you can relax and enjoy the gas fireplace with a stone surround. There's also a 42" TV with a DVD player and a stereo system for your entertainment. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a blender, toaster, and a Keurig coffee maker. The two-person dining table provides a cozy spot to enjoy your meals. The bedroom exudes a Zen vibe with a large stained-glass panel called "A Dove in Flight" above the entrance. Inside, you'll find a king bed for a restful slumber and a jetted tub for ultimate relaxation. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower. Outside, you can cookout at the picnic table using the charcoal grill (charcoal not provided). Alternatively, you can unwind on the covered deck in the private hot tub or relax in the rocking chairs while enjoying the scenic views of the Smoky Mountains. The lower level deck is not meant for guest it gives access to the bottom of the cabin that houses the AC and Heater. Additional amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, a washer/dryer, and parking for up to two cars in the driveway. Please note that the gas fireplace is seasonal and operational from October to April. We hope you have a wonderful stay at Dove's Nest! Other things to note The road leading to the cabin is a narrow single lane road, which is common for mountain roads in this area. When two vehicles are approaching each other, one must move over to the side to allow the other to pass. As for the cabin itself, like many others in the Smoky Mountains, it is equipped with satellite internet. However, please note that the internet connection may vary in terms of reliability and speed.
