Country View Lake House

Welcome to our quiet, relaxing, cozy home sitting on Cottonwood Lake in Sterling, KS. We celebrate holidays and enjoy our summers in this home and wish to share it with you. It’s fully heated and cooled and is a great escape, especially if you enjoy being near the water. We enjoy breathtaking views from the covered deck next to the water. You may also enjoy many amenities which contain going for walks, sitting by the fire ring, or fishing off the dock! The space Our home has a front porch for enjoying the sunrise and fresh air on the open deck. There is a closed garage for grilling on a charcoal grill (you will need to bring charcoal and lighter fuel. If there is some charcoal available from prior guests, you are welcome to use.) On the back of the house, there is a large covered porch with access to the water. There is also a large fire pit to the east lot that you may cook hot dogs or s’mores over, or hang out and enjoy the evening. When you walk through the front doors you will walk into the living room and dining room, on the right is a large kitchen and on the left is the spare bedroom with queen bed. We also have a pack and play available in the closet for use for little ones. Down the hall, you will have your laundry room on the right with a full bathroom, there is a main entrance to the laundry room off the back deck. To the left is a mudroom coming in from the garage entrance. Straight ahead on the west end of the house is the large master bedroom with master bath. Off the master bathroom, we have converted a large closet into a bedroom with twin bunk beds. We ask that you please note how many guests will be staying so this allows us ample time to clean the home and all linens between visitors! Other things to note There is no internet or satellite tv. We have regular tv stations available, a DVD player, and amazon fire stick available for anyone that has a personal hotspot and a Netflix, amazon, Hulu, etc. We do not allow or accept parties at our home!
