Dalton House, B&B, King room in country house

Enjoy a relaxing B&B stay at Dalton House, Northumberland. Guests can choose from a large superking/family room with bathroom nearby or king bedroom with bathroom en-suite. Another king bedroom with private bathroom is listed separately. Ideally situated for walking, cycling and exploring the county and famous coastline, while only a short distance from Hadrians Wall, Newcastle, Durham, York and Edinburgh are easily accessible.(We are not Dalton in Furness) The space Quiet, private annex with a kingsize bedroom or a large superking room, quality bed linen and flat screen SkyTV. A large en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, W.C. A long dress mirror, wardrobe, hairdryer and iron available. The dining room with breakfast table is served in a cosy snug room with wood burning stove for colder days. Guests are served a continental breakfast. Guests enter by the white door marked B+B at front of house, leading through to a spacious hall and private staircase upstairs to the bedrooms and bathroom. A hospitality tray with tea and coffee, biscuits or fruit is provided. Outside is a well stocked garden with mature trees, plants and terrace. Autumn brings a wonderful crop of apples from the orchard, with plenty for guests to take a few home! Our front terrace has outside seating for warmer days and there is ample safe car parking. Dalton House is perfectly situated for a short break to visit Northumberland for business or pleasure. Guest access There is a private entrance through a white door at the front of the house into the dining room. A private staircase in the hallway takes you upstairs to the bedroom and bathroom and hall. Outside guests may access the terrace with table and chairs to sit and enjoy warmer days. Car parking on private drive. Bicycles can be stored in garage with secure roller door. During your stay The hosts are available to welcome you and assist at any time during your stay. Should you have any dietary queries, please do not hesitate to ask. We normally have check in time after 4pm, and check out by 10am. Please advise us if you require alternative arrangements. Breakfast will be laid out between 7.30am and 9.45am. Guests are welcome to help themselves to breakfast when required. Collection/drop off from Newcastle Airport can be arranged. We operate a strict NO smoking policy. Other things to note A continental breakfast is served of cereals, breads, croissants, toast, butter, jams, marmalade, honey, yoghurts, fresh fruits, real coffee, teas, juice. Gluten free bread on request, We serve fresh produce from our vegetable garden and orchard, when in season.
