Private apartment with large shaded backyard in the Hudson Valley a short stroll to Wallkill Rail Trail that is paved and over 5 miles long that ends in Walden. Excellent location as a base for visiting many of Hudson Valley's best attractions from orchards vineyards, Shawangunk ridge, and quaint small villages. The location is 3 miles to Angry Orchard, 12 miles to SUNY New Paltz, and 13 miles to Lake Minnewaska, Awosting Reserve. Mohonk Mountain House and Reserve are a short drive as well. The space This home is quiet and cozy. This cozy studio has a queen sized bed, full size sleeper sofa, complete kitchen, and bathroom. There are two closets and a luggage rack. The apartment adjoins the back of an 1865 Victorian home. The suite's entrance faces the backyard. From the backyard, you can watch the sunrise/sunset. We are a short walk to biking, hiking trails. Located a two block stroll to a great neighborhood bar/restaurant (Parkview House) and pizzeria (Pasquale's). Both offering take out. Our hamlet is very quiet and safe. A quaint escape from NYC or larger cities. We are only five minutes drive from Angry Orchard, and a short drive from Minnewaska Lake. Please read our guidebook for other nearby attractions. Other things to note The apartment provides excellent access to area hiking and outdoor activities including the Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park, Bear Mountain, Hudson Valley Wine Trail, Angry Orchard, SUNY New Paltz, apple orchards and more. It is only 30 minutes from the Beacon station on the Metro-North Hudson Line. The apartment is also very close to Shanti Mandir, and Watchtower Farms.
