River Valley Casita

You’ll love this casita, a relaxing peaceful setting close to many tourist attractions in Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico. It makes a great base to launch from for Chaco Canyon NM, Mesa Verde National Monument, The Bisti Badlands, Purgatory Ski resort and amazing quality waters fishing on the San Juan River. The space You will be enthralled by the view of ancient trees off the back porch. There are usually several deer meandering around the property. Sit comfortably and sip a cup of coffee as the sun rises and a nice beverage in the evening as it sets. Breath deep of the fresh river bottom air. Be still. Guest access There are several acres of river access close by. You are free to stroll. Our self appointed co-hosts (Annie and Clive, two yellow labs) often take it upon themselves to escort you to the river, in hopes that a stick will make it into your hands and be tossed for a fetch. Other things to note We ask that you remove shoes before entering.
