Our Homestead casita is in the backyard of our central phoenix home. Located right off Central Ave., there are bars and restaurants within walking distance (even more within a short drive), great access to all of Greater Phoenix. Glendale is 10 minutes west; Scottsdale is 10 minutes east, the airport is 20 minutes away. The Casita is a one bedroom with a queen size mattress, full eat-in kitchen, walk in shower, detached laundry room, one street parking spot in a residential neighborhood. The space Homestead casita is on a 1/3-acre corner lot with a large private backyard. Our property was built on an old orange orchard so there are 6 orange trees (help yourself if they are in season). Half of the yard has the orange trees, greenspace, and a grilling area with a natural gas grill. The other half of our property has our inground pool, hot tub, and garden. No matter where you are on our property you are surrounded by lush trees, vegetation, and great privacy. We also have access to many great desert hiking trails within a couple miles. Feel free to hang out in the garden area, but please do not take anything. Due to COVID-19 we are taking extra steps to disinfect all surfaces between guests. Guest access Guests have a parking spot in front of our house on the residential street. Please make sure you park in front of our house and not the neighbors. Unfortunately, we can only allow one overnight parking spot per reservation. There is a gate to the left side of the house that will bring you into our backyard and we will provide you a code for access into the casita. This code will also give you access to the laundry room. Other things to note No smoking is allowed in or near the casita. We are not smokers, and do not want the smell of smoke in our home. There is a deep end of the pool, but please no diving or jumping off any structures on our property. NO GLASS is allowed in the pool/spa area. The pool is not heated, but it can be used at any time. The hot tub is heated but will not be in service June-September.
