Guest suite in Twain Harte

Enjoy the privacy of our large studio apartment with your own entrance on the lower level of our home with direct access to a backyard forest with a year-round creek. There is a sitting area, comfy queen size bed, bathroom, and a kitchenette. A cozy gas fireplace will keep you warm in winter; an AC unit will keep you cool in summer. We have ample parking in our driveway. You will need to walk down a sloping gravel walkway or outside stairs to access the apartment at the back of our home. The space Guests have their own private access to the apartment through a sliding glass door. It is an approximately 500 square foot studio apartment. The heat source is a cozy gas operated fireplace stove. We have fans and an AC mini-split unit if the weather is warm. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower with soap and shampoo/conditioner and plenty of towels. In the kitchenette there’s a small refrigerator with freezer, microwave and toaster. We also provide a Keurig coffee maker including the Keurig coffee pods and sugar. There is a TV available with a Fire stick (no cable). Guests may also walk around in our backyard. Just please check with hosts for our property parameters because there are no fences denoting neighbors’ property. We have a lovely creek to look at and you might even see deer, wild turkeys, and squirrels. Guest access Guests have their own private entrance to the apartment. Outside there is a picnic table and seating near the creek. Other things to note Please park to the left side of the garage in our driveway. We live in a rural area so it’s dark at night. There are no street lights. Areas around our house are well lit but you might want to bring a flashlight Keep in mind that there are outside stairs to access the apartment as well as a sloping gravel walkway.
