Guests welcome in a lovely old house in a small village surrounded by vines in the Minervois region of the south of France. Near Canal du Midi, Minerve, Carcassonne, Narbonne. Walks and swims in beautiful countryside, great restaurants, markets, towns and sites to visit. House is 320m2, with original tiles and marble, large comfy bedrooms, sunny terrace and garden, full of romance and charm. The space In a quiet village surrounded by beautiful countryside. Mediterranean climate, no passing cars, local wines and produce. The house is full of romance, charm, and an atmosphere outside of time. Guest access On the ground floor are two living rooms and a large kitchen, as well as the garden, terrace, garage and two toilets. On the first floor are three bedrooms each with a private bathroom, and on the second floor two bedrooms, one has a bathroom and the other a washroom, and the library. All the rooms are large, luminous and comfortable, with views onto the village or the garden, and there is an elevator. During your stay We will be present, living upstairs, available to help, but out of your way. We propose a table d'hôte, meaning we are delighted to prepare you a three course meal with 24 hours notice. Breakfast, fresh croissants and bread, fruit, juice and tea or coffee is 5 euro or you can have it at the little village store. On the ground floor you will also find a little 'tourism' office, with wifi, free local calls, maps of the region and daytrip suggestions highlighting markets, swim spots, restaurants, towns and sites to visit. Other things to note There is a little grocery store in the village proposing coffee and croissants in the morning. Open til 12 every day except Monday.
