The Pigsty in the valley of Assisi

Our recently renovated pigsty, is a small portion of a beautiful, traditional Umbrian country house in the Assisi valley which we are in the midst of restoring. You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. Come and enjoy our hospitality! The space The old pigsty has been converted into a very comfortable, modern and stylish 1 bedroom space. You have your own independent entrance to come and go as you please. The bathroom is spacious with a powerful, walk-in shower. We have a great WIFI signal and fast charging USB ports to keep you connected to the interweb at all times. Separate to the bedroom is an outside kitchen and dining area which is where we serve breakfast in the warm weather. Now, in Autumn, we serve breakfast directly to your room. Guest access We are only 6km away from the jewel of Assisi, the Basilica di San Francesco. A 10-15 min drive at the most. And we are even closer to Santa Maria delgi Angeli, the place that Saint Francis loved the most. There are three main car parks in Assisi and we can advise you which is the best one for the activity you want to do. Why not use our guest house as your base to travel around Italy. We are only 2 hours from Rome and Florence. You won't regret it! During your stay Mark and Gwen are on-site for all of your needs. If you want to have your own space too that's perfectly fine. But we are here whenever you need us. We are available to help with booking restaurants and recommending the best places to explore. Other things to note I left the UK for a different kind of life. When I fell in love with Italy, little did I realise the new adventure awaiting me. While I love to welcome English speaking guests, I love having Italian visitors help me improve my language skills!
