After a long day of hiking, biking, or skiing, come take a swing at our charming historical cottage. Dating back to the mid 1800s it was one of the first schoolhouses in the area, today it is filled with all the modern luxuries one would need. Our quaint porch is perfect for bird watching or leaf peeping. The inside includes high ceilings, a bedroom and a cozy loft- both with queen beds. French culture is only a 10 min drive away; Vermont culture is abound with maple syrup and warm locals. The space With Jay Peak right up the road, the next best thing to France a few miles further and a beautiful maple lined street right out your door the location of our home can’t be understated. But what we believe sets our home apart from other Airbnb’s in the area is what’s inside. 100-year-old floors, a claw foot tub, an old porcelain farmhouse sink, a swing and concrete counter tops. Our house perfectly blends historical elements with modern luxuries, you may come for the great outdoors but never leave our cozy home. You can enjoy your morning coffee on our covered porch were the local chipmunks and birds like to congregate and spend evenings in our backyard patio area stocked with wood for cool summer nights or just hang out inside listening to our record selection with over 75 records from Classic rock to hip-hop to jazz, we have records for everyone to enjoy :) oh and don’t forget about our 9 foot Victor slate pool table, open the garage door while you play and enjoy the sounds of nature and the cool summer breeze. Guest access Please park in front of the garage and parallel with it making sure not to block the road NEVER LOCK THE BOTTOM LOCK ON FRONT DOOR, RESPECT THE TAPE Other things to note -Our house has direct access to VASA trails ! -One Bedroom is a Loft - there is only one AC unit and it is in the main bedroom - the pool table is in an unheated space so not available to use in the winter -We recommend all our guests to bring there passports to get to Canada. Our house is 12 minutes to the border crossing and once you cross over and head into one of the many quaint Quebec towns you’ll feel like you’re in France. - our house is located on North hill road which has been featured in many publications for its fall beauty !
