We are happy to offer our 2nd story, 600 sqf barn studio with full bath and kitchenette tucked away on a 3 acre horse property with a large deck overlooking a pond. A true Country experience, yet just 2 mins from George Bush turnpike, 1.5 mile to DART Rail, 17 mins drive to downtown Dallas, Plano, Allen, 5 mins to Lake Ray Hubbard, Rockwall. You must be OK with horses (on 3 sides of the barn) and free roaming chickens. The space The barn has everything you need to be comfortable plus an awesome outdoor deck overlooking the pond and the horses, a great place to enjoy morning coffee and watch the sunrise or eat dinner in the shade. Kitchenette has a 2 burner hot plate, a toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker. Outdoor gas grill available upon request. This is a second floor unit with 2 separate staircases to access. We do have some chickens and 2 horses on the property. Feel free to feed apples, carrots or bread to the horses if you wish. Proton is the Arabian, and King is the Paint and they are gentle animals. Horses stalls are located under the back deck of the barn loft. Guest access You are welcome to walk around the property, and the neighborhood is a quiet place to go for a walk or jog. There is little traffic and the people are friendly. The garage below the loft is not part of the rental and owners need to access the lower level daily to feed the horses. Please pardon any noise, we strive to be as quick and quiet as possible. The loft is secured separately from the garage below so your privacy is assured. Other things to note The horses, King (the Paint) and Proton (the Arabian), have free access to their stalls located under the deck. They will come in for the night and occasionally bump into the walls which you might hear. We feed them daily and access their stalls through the garage below the loft.
