The space Plenty of free on-street parking is available right in front of our house. When you arrive, there are two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, dining table, and TV area are all updated with modern high end furnishings. This patio apartment is part our fully restored 1928 brick Tudor in a friendly and lively residential neighborhood. A luxurious sleep! Plush firm queen mattresses, luxury linens and down pillows in each bedroom. Plenty of room for four people, but up to two more can stay on the pull-out queen size sofa bed. Fresh white Turkish cotton towels, shampoo, soap, and conditioner are provided. If you stay longer, we are happy to replenish your linens and towels every three days. Cable streaming via Fubo TV, Disney+, and a Roku TV with ability to log into your application, and WiFi are provided. Fully appointed kitchen includes complimentary Keurig coffee. Washer/dryer with complimentary detergent, plus an iron and ironing board, are also located in the kitchen. Living room includes sofa and flat screen HDTV. Thermostats and in-wall electric heat in each room. On hot days, fans and the highly conditioned space keep you cool. The large back patio is great for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening fire around the outdoor fireplace fully stocked with fire wood. The built-in gas grill is great for cooking outside. A stay here shouldn't be anything less than comfortable, convenient, peaceful and serene. Guest access Access the private entrance from the back patio via the concrete walk along the south side of the house, or the gravel path along the north side of the house. Enjoy the private back patio along with the manicured gardens and flowers in our back yard during your stay! We are located about 5 miles north of downtown Seattle, in the heart of North Ballard, and about 15 miles north of SeaTac Airport. The nearest intersection is 75th Ave and 16th Ave NW. By car, we are about 15 minutes from downtown and about 30 minutes from the airport. By light rail and/or bus, we are about 20 minutes from downtown and about 60-75 minutes from the airport. Uber/Taxi rates from our house to downtown is about 15-20 minutes and about 30-45 minutes to the airport. If you are using public transportation, the Rapid Ride bus is very easy to navigate and stops on 75th and 15th Ave - mere feet from our house and just one block over. You can very easily roll your luggage from this stop. From the airport, take light rail to downtown. Get out at the Westlake Station stop and go up to street level at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street. The Rapid Ride D line leaves every 8 minutes. Other things to note The mid-floor is treated with professional sound proofing. However, when we are home you may hear our footsteps and voices through the ceiling. We are unable to hear sound from below (unless you’re very loud and we’re very quiet). Refunds can be made for emergencies or other extenuating circumstances. Just drop us a note if you need to cancel. Young children are welcome and upon request we can provide a pack-n-play, and other helpful items (toys, books, blankets, etc.).
